About the Role

Our client is a well-established and highly respected medical device company with an excellent reputation for supplying innovative surgical and endoscopy solutions to hospitals across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Surgical Sales Representative to join their commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading portfolio of endoscopy and surgical products, partnering with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams and clinical specialists to improve patient outcomes while driving commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an established territory across hospital accounts.
  • Promote a portfolio of endoscopy and surgical products to healthcare professionals.
  • Build strong relationships with Consultants, Surgeons, Theatre Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Procurement and CSSD teams.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, clinical education and training sessions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and activity targets.
  • Develop territory business plans and implement strategic account management.
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences and educational meetings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Work closely with marketing, customer service and clinical support teams to ensure excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will represent a broad portfolio including:

  • Endoscopy consumables and accessories
  • Laparoscopic instrumentation
  • Energy devices
  • Surgical instruments
  • Theatre consumables
  • Visualisation and imaging solutions
  • Infection prevention and sterile processing products

Candidate Profile

  • Candidates from clinical backgrounds (Theatre, Endoscopy or Surgical Nursing) looking to move into sales will also be considered.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercially driven with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Confident presenting and delivering product demonstrations.
  • Comfortable supporting clinicians within the operating theatre environment.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to manage a territory independently.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
