About the Role
Our client is a well-established and highly respected medical device company with an excellent reputation for supplying innovative surgical and endoscopy solutions to hospitals across Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Surgical Sales Representative to join their commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading portfolio of endoscopy and surgical products, partnering with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams and clinical specialists to improve patient outcomes while driving commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established territory across hospital accounts.
- Promote a portfolio of endoscopy and surgical products to healthcare professionals.
- Build strong relationships with Consultants, Surgeons, Theatre Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Procurement and CSSD teams.
- Deliver product demonstrations, clinical education and training sessions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Achieve and exceed sales and activity targets.
- Develop territory business plans and implement strategic account management.
- Attend exhibitions, conferences and educational meetings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Work closely with marketing, customer service and clinical support teams to ensure excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will represent a broad portfolio including:
- Endoscopy consumables and accessories
- Laparoscopic instrumentation
- Energy devices
- Surgical instruments
- Theatre consumables
- Visualisation and imaging solutions
- Infection prevention and sterile processing products
Candidate Profile
- Candidates from clinical backgrounds (Theatre, Endoscopy or Surgical Nursing) looking to move into sales will also be considered.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Commercially driven with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Confident presenting and delivering product demonstrations.
- Comfortable supporting clinicians within the operating theatre environment.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage a territory independently.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
