Position Highlights: Schedule: 3 weekends per month Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM Start Date: May 10 Ongoing contract 24-hour call shifts Average callback: 4 hours per day (including rounding) Practice Details: Hospital-based setting Patient population: Adults (18+) including adolescents and geriatrics Cases include urgent surgical needs (cath lab to OR when necessary) Patients typically transition from ICU to home Surgeon available for backup after consult EMR: Epic Procedures include vein harvesting Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain) DEA required Minimum 3 years of experience Acute care certification not required This is a solid opportunity for someone looking for predictable weekend work with a supportive team and a steady workflow.
