About the Role

We are looking for confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across schools in Ealing from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety and want the flexibility to work across different school environments, as well as those looking for a route into a long-term or permanent position.

As a Supply Teacher, you will take responsibility for the class when the usual teacher is absent, delivering lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused throughout the school day.

You will be supported by the school and will have the opportunity to work across different year groups and settings, gaining valuable experience while building strong relationships with schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the school's existing plans.
  • Take full responsibility for the class during the teacher's absence.
  • Establish clear expectations and maintain positive behaviour management.
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged, motivated and focused on their learning.
  • Adapt your approach to meet the needs of different pupils and classes.
  • Manage classroom routines and maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, particularly around safeguarding and behaviour.
  • Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and other support staff.
  • Provide appropriate feedback to the class teacher regarding the day's learning and pupil behaviour.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across different schools.
  • Be flexible and confident when moving between different classes and school environments.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a school environment.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • The ability to quickly establish rapport with pupils.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
  • Confidence adapting to different schools, year groups and classroom environments.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting pupils to achieve their potential.
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
