Field Technician

Field Technician - £43,300 + overtime – Doncaster – Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for an experienced Field Technician to join the Doncaster team of an established and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical or engineering background who is looking to develop their skills further through ongoing training and career progression.

The successful candidate will travel to processing sites across the UK, carrying out maintenance, fault diagnosis, equipment installation and mechanical assembly work. Some overnight stays will be required depending on location.

Field technician duties include:

Visit processing sites throughout the UK to maintain systems and equipment

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently

Dismantle and reassemble mechanical components and equipment

Support the installation of equipment at customer sites

Report issues promptly and accurately to the company

Work safely and in line with quality and compliance standards

Requirements:

To apply for the field technician position, you must hold a full UK driving licence

Previous mechanical or engineering experience within a continuous process or manufacturing environment

Experience and knowledge of TIG welding and diaphragm pumps

A strong commitment to health and safety, quality and compliance

Salary and benefits for the field technician:  

Basic salary: £43,300

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Travel: Some overnight stays required

Vehicle: Company van provided, with business fuel paid

Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

Pension: Company contributions from 7% up to 10%
