Supply Chain Strategy & Business Development Manager

Overview

In this role you shape Essity’s global supply chain strategy and drive transformational initiatives. You’ll work with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to deploy strategic priorities, lead cross-functional projects, and support executive decision-making. You will manage high-impact programs such as the IBP rollout and digital transformation efforts, delivering actionable insights.

This position combines strategy, execution, and governance to improve performance, resilience, and cost competitiveness. You’ll collaborate across units to turn insights into strategic action and meaningful impact.

• Support development and deployment of the Supply Chain strategy and lead transformation initiatives (IBP rollout and digital transformation)
• Manage and drive high-priority projects improving performance, resilience, sustainability, service, and cost competitiveness
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, develop KPIs, and provide senior-leadership recommendations
• Track initiatives, monitor progress, and manage risks, dependencies, and deliverables
• Coordinate leadership planning, business reviews, and operating rhythms
• Prepare strategic communications, facilitate leadership meetings, and drive cross-functional alignment
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working within the Supply Chain

• 8-10 years of relevant Supply Chain experience
• Experience in both industrial and consulting environments preferred
• Strong business acumen with analytical capability; translate insights into strategic actions
• Proven experience leading complex projects in international/matrix organizations
• Project management capability; certification is an advantage
• Collaborative, influential communicator who can navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
