Job Description
Overview This is an opportunity to undertake the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing course School Nursing full time over an academic year. This post is fully funded by HEIW with the academic study provided by Glyndwr University and the practical placements provided by BCUHB West area, Anglesey and Gwynedd. On successful completion of the course, you will be able to register on part 3 of the NMC register. You will be supernumerary for the duration of the course and allocated a qualified School Nurse practice supervisor and practice assessor. You will learn all aspects of the (School Nurse) role whilst undertaking your practical experience within a School Nursing team in West BCU. You will build up your experience and confidence in practice whilst learning the theoretical aspects of the public health course. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
