Structural Engineer

Overview We are seeking a Structural Engineer for a 7-week contract based in Carryduff, Belfast. This role involves utilizing Tekla Structures to deliver a mix of structural steel and architectural metalwork projects for a leading steelwork contractor. You will lead the design and detailing of structural steel (60%) and architectural metalwork (40%) packages. Contract details Start Date : Mid May Rate : £250.00 per day Hours : 39 hours per week (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Thu | 8:40 AM - 4:00 PM Fri) Contract : 7 Weeks Location : Carryduff, Belfast (Office-based) Key Responsibilities Producing technical designs and calculations for a variety of steel projects. Utilizing Tekla Structures for 3D modeling and drawing production. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant Eurocodes and British Standards. Collaborating with the detailing and production teams to resolve technical hurdles. Managing project timelines to ensure delivery within the 7-week contract window. Requirements Essential: Proven experience as a Structural Engineer within the steelwork sector.
