Structural Engineer Cardiff Cardiff, South Wales £35,000 – £45,000 DOE Overview We’re on the lookout for a driven Structural Engineer, ideally with experience in temporary works design or façade/cladding design, to work on projects in the commercial, leisure, industrial, residential, and educational sectors. What You'll Be Doing Designing building structures across major sectors using steel, concrete, timber & masonry Deliver projects from £1m to £20m, while juggling resourcing, fees, timelines, and quality Act as a key point of contact for clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders Conduct building inspections and structural reports with sound recommendations for remedial works What we are looking for Ideally, you will have experience in temporary works design or façade/cladding design 2+ years' structural design experience across a variety of building types Degree-qualified (BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering) Chartered or actively working towards IStructE or ICE chartership (not essential) Confident in Revit and AutoCAD, Tedds and Tekla Structures (or similar) Strong technical and analytical design skills, with a keen eye for detail Full UK driving license (required) Tools & Support Provided Access to ongoing CPD events and technical courses Mentoring from in-house Chartered Engineers Assistance and funding support towards Chartership applications What’s in It for You Competitive salary & Annual Bonus: £35k – £45k depending on experience 28 days holiday Flexible working environment Company Pension Scheme Projects that make an impact – across residential, commercial, healthcare, and more
