Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi for a Strategy & Investments Analyst. Key responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, creating detailed financial models, evaluating investment opportunities, managing portfolios, and supporting decision-making through comprehensive research. The analyst will also work closely with cross-functional teams to assess strategic initiatives, monitor industry trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis across the Indian healthcare sector, with focus on tertiary care, specialty hospitals, and outpost / satellite strategy. • Build financial models, scenario analyses, and investment memoranda for new initiatives, joint ventures, partnerships, and potential acquisitions. • Identify and evaluate inorganic opportunities — M&A targets, strategic JVs, brownfield acquisitions, and partnership models — in North India and other priority geographies. • Lead investor and partner outreach from Delhi, including coordination with healthcare PE/VC funds, family offices, lenders, and strategic corporate partners. • Support the Chief Strategy Officer in preparing board presentations, investor decks, lender packs, and strategic review materials. • Track healthcare policy developments, regulatory changes, and central government schemes (CGHS, ECHS, Ayushman Bharat, IRDAI updates) that impact the Group’s strategic direction. • Develop outpost and new-unit feasibility studies, including catchment analysis, demand modelling, payer mix assessment, and P&L projections. • Coordinate with external consultants, transaction advisors, and research agencies on strategic and investment projects. • Represent VPS Lakeshore at industry conferences, roundtables, and stakeholder engagements across Delhi/NCR and North India. • Liaise with hospital and corporate leadership in Kochi to ensure corporate strategy and investment decisions are grounded in operational realities and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Public Health, or a related field from a premier institution.

MBA from a top-tier institute strongly preferred. • 3–7 years of experience in management consulting (healthcare practice), investment banking, healthcare PE/VC, corporate strategy, or healthcare M&A advisory. • Exceptional financial modelling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills. • Strong command of PowerPoint, Excel, and business intelligence / data tools. • Proven ability to synthesise complex data and policy developments into clear, actionable executive recommendations. • Deep understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem — private hospital chains, insurance landscape, government health schemes, and medical tourism. • Confident, polished communicator able to represent the Group with investors, lenders, corporates, and policymakers. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Direct experience with hospital feasibility studies, M&A due diligence, or healthcare PE/VC transactions. • Existing network within the Delhi/NCR healthcare, investor, and policy ecosystem. • Exposure to central government health programmes and engagement with ministries, regulators, or industry bodies (NATHEALTH, CII Healthcare, FICCI Health). • Familiarity with Kerala’s healthcare market and South India medical tourism dynamics. • Experience with NABH accreditation strategy or JCI quality frameworks as inputs to investment cases.
