We are seeking a collaborative, customerâobsessed Store Manager who possesses a savvy, entrepreneurial spirit. You will drive a profitable business and bring a high level of energy to inspire the team through great communication and coaching, all while being a product expert. Responsibilities Act as a role model, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through genuine interactions. Participate in local outreach, events and networking opportunities to build brand presence. Hire, develop, and lead a diverse, highâperforming team that embodies J.Jillâs values.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment through coaching, clear communication, and recognition while empowering individuals to exceed store goals. Drive store performance by analyzing sales trends, setting goals, and implementing strategies to meet or exceed targets while ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jillâs products to provide customers with personalized styling recommendations and build confidence in their choices.
Ensure smooth daily operations, manage inventory, and uphold visual merchandising standardsâincluding floor setsâthat align with company guidelines. Take ownership of store performance, addressing challenges with a proactive and solutionâoriented mindset. Navigate various communication settings across organizational levels, adjusting messaging to fit diverse audiences.

Qualifications 4+ years of Womenâs Specialty Retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop highâperforming teams. Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
Experience in analyzing business trends and executing action plans. Passion for fashion, styling, and merchandising. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage ambiguity with confidence.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical Requirements Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling and maneuvering around store, handling merchandise, ladder climbing, operating POS registers and other mobile devices; occasionally operating trash compactor, hand truck, and lifting up to 30 lbs with ability to lift in teams.
