You will join an established multi-site organisation with production, warehousing and third-party storage operations. The business is committed to maintaining accurate stock levels, efficient inventory processes and reliable customer service across its locations. This opportunity has arisen to strengthen stock control and support continued improvements in operational efficiency.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will coordinate stock inventory across company sites and off-site storage facilities. Your primary objective will be to ensure the correct stock is available at the required location and time, helping the business meet customer demand. The role combines inventory analysis, stock control, reporting, auditing, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing daily stock reports and coordinating Just-in-Time replenishment of off-site inventory.
• Creating and releasing transfer orders, closing completed transfers and ensuring stock movements are accurately recorded.
• Releasing back orders and investigating stock discrepancies across company and third-party storage locations.
• Coordinating cycle counting and stock audit programmes across all sites and storage providers.
• Producing weekly manifests and acting as the main contact for third-party storage providers.
• Analysing inventory performance and implementing AI-assisted tools and process improvements to strengthen stock accuracy and availability.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need at least two years' experience in a similar stock or inventory role, including practical use of warehouse management systems. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and advanced organisational skills are essential. You should be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to use AI tools such as Copilot.

You must also be capable of working proactively, managing competing priorities and building effective relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.

You will ideally possess:

• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar stock, inventory or warehouse-based role.
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and AI tools such as Copilot.
• Excellent analytical, planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• The ability to work independently, under pressure and to tight schedules.
• A full, clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

Desirable experience includes:

• A third-level qualification in a business or logistics-related subject.
• Previous experience within a similar or high-frequency warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
• A valid forklift licence.
• Experience working within a health and safety-focused environment.
