Our small, fast-paced engineering team seeks experienced engineers who understand product strategy, applying creative technical solutions. We are hiring a Staff Android Engineer who can lead the team to move incredibly fast while delivering a quality product. You'll work on the highest impact project in a team of brilliant engineers like yourself.

In addition to building technology, you'll contribute to the product and business strategy. Design, build and ship Android client features for users to monetize their contributions on Reddit. Move fast while balancing quality.

We need people who can balance speed with quality while quickly building brand-new products. We give everyone a seat at the table and encourage active participation in planning for the future. Work closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences.

Qualifications 5+ years mobile development experience with multiple parts of the Android stack. We develop with Kotlin. Experience developing customer-facing public applications is preferred.

You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment, and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences. Experience mentoring engineers, owning team processes, and leading cross-functional projects is preferred. We're completely remote friendly .

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. based employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) program with employer match, generous time off for vacation, and parental leave. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
