Position: Sr Application Developer and Support Engineering
Duration: Fulltime, Permanent
Work Mode : Hybrid (2 days office and 3 Days WFH)
Shift: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST
Notice Period : Immediate Joiners to 15 Days
Role Overview
The App Dev and Support Engineering (Senior) will be responsible for developing and supporting software components for Portfolio Analytics and Risk & Research Technology organization. Working under the guidance of the Lead Engineer, this role will focus on delivering stable and efficient integrations with Aladdin, supporting performance and attribution workflows, and resolving Level 2 production issues.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software components aligned with Aladdin integrations.
- Serve as Level 2 support for production incidents escalated beyond Level 1.
- Execute refactoring, technical debt cleanup, and workflow automation tasks.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and validation frameworks to ensure consistent analytics outputs.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
- Ensure development standards and documentation are followed consistently.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of enterprise development experience, preferably within investment risk or asset management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver component-level solutions and production support.
- Familiarity with Aladdin, performance attribution, or portfolio/risk analytics preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Airflow, dbt, SQL, Python, C#, SSIS, GO
- Experience with data engineering, validation, and automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
