Sr Analyst II Business Process Transactions

DXC Technology, a leading enterprise technology and innovation partner, has a position for a Claims Handler focused on living benefit claims. This role evaluates claims for appropriateness of payment and benefits, ensures compliance with regulations, and maintains accurate documentation in the claim system. Responsibilities • Analyze insurance contracts to ensure provisions are applied correctly. • Evaluate each claim for payment, denial, and calculation of benefits. • Request and review necessary information to assess each claim. • Communicate with the insured routinely to provide status updates. • Accurately input pertinent information into the claim system and process claims in a timely and efficient manner. • Document claims thoroughly, ensuring clarity and compliance with internal service level standards. • Adhere to insurance regulations and all legislative requirements related to living benefit claims.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Two or more years of claims handling experience, preferably with living benefit claims such as Disability Income, Critical Illness, Disability Waiver, or Premium claims Knowledge of basic computer systems including word processing, email, and spreadsheets Aptitude for learning new computer systems Experience with claims processing procedures, documentation, administrative procedures, legislative requirements, and medical principles related to living benefit claim approval Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of disability and life insurance preferred Other Qualifications Good analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members Ability to keep sensitive and confidential material private Ability to work in a team environment DXC is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome the many dimensions of diversity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
