JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a Sr. AI Experience Software Developer based in North America to join a large HCM company on a 7 month contract to support a government-focused vulnerability remediation program. This is a senior hands-on engineering role focused on implementing and hardening AI-assisted development workflows for broader use.

Working as part of a small technical team, this role will help build reusable assets, operationalize workflows in real development settings, and support adoption across repositories, toolchains, testing practices, and delivery processes. The role will contribute directly to the implementation components that make shared workflows practical and repeatable, including prompts, agents, context patterns, harnesses, workflow scaffolding, templates, implementation guides, and lightweight evaluation methods. The focus is on hands-on delivery and reusable implementation work, while contributing to practical guardrails and standards that support responsible adoption.

Candidates must be able to hit the ground running to meet urgent deadlines. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – 5+ years experience building software at an enterprise scale and expertise with system design – 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI tooling in a development context (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development tools) – 5+ years of practical, execution-focused development experience (candidates with a purely theoretical or enterprise architecture background will not be considered) – 3+ years of experience working within CI/CD processes and pipeline tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent) – Experience building reusable workflow components such as prompts, agents, context patterns, harnesses, scripts, templates, workflow scaffolding, or similar tooling. – Ability to identify edge cases, implementation gaps, and practical guardrail needs that improve workflow quality and repeatability. – 3+ years of experience working within large enterprise software organizations with an understanding of governance, compliance, and standards requirements – 2+ years of demonstrated experience guiding, enabling, or mentoring development teams through technology adoption or process change initiatives – Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional, and sometimes resistant technical teams NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE – Experience working with shared platforms, internal tooling, or integration points across engineering systems is an asset. – Experience contributing practical feedback on tooling gaps, workflow usability, and adoption challenges is an asset.
