HTF Staffing is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for an immediate full-time opportunity in Weldon, CA, serving students from preschool through 4th grade.
POSITION DETAILS
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Weldon, California
- Grade Levels: Preschool – 4th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 20 students
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: Potentially permanent
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Positions Available: 1
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students from preschool through 4th grade.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide instruction based on each student's individual academic, developmental, and behavioral needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Implement appropriate accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies.
- Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Credential: Special Education M/M or M/S with Early Childhood authorization.
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
