Solution Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud‑based applications for data processing and analytics within an AWS environment.
• Collaborate with project teams, architects and technical SMEs to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Build prototypes and production‑ready applications that solve real business challenges.
• Produce clear technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
• Follow government standards, security requirements and industry best practices.

Highly desirable criteria

• Extensive development experience across Cloud, IoT or Operational Technology environments.
• Strong capability with Python, C#, Linux scripting and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, Kinesis and API Gateway.
• Experience with Snowflake and modern data architecture.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience within complex enterprise or government environments.
• Knowledge of secure application development and cloud architecture.
• Ability to adapt quickly to established platforms and technical standards.

Skills and experience

• Proven software development experience across cloud‑based solutions.
• Strong understanding of data integration, databases and application interfaces.
• Experience delivering high‑quality, supportable applications within Agile project teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
