We are currently looking for a senior Solution Architect - Managed Services to join a complex enterprise environment focused on Digital Workplace and Hybrid IT services.

Role Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, competitive and financially sustainable Managed Services solutions for enterprise clients.

This role operates at the intersection of service architecture, pre-sales, commercial solutioning and operational delivery. You will work closely with sales, technical, financial and delivery teams to translate business requirements into modern, executable and differentiated service models.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness, financial modelling capabilities and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead service architecture and solutioning activities for complex enterprise opportunities.
  • Understand client business objectives, operational challenges and technical requirements.
  • Design end-to-end Managed Services solutions for Digital Workplace and Hybrid IT environments.
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, BAFO processes and other formal bid activities.
  • Define service scope, operating models, SLAs, XLAs, governance structures and support models.
  • Develop value propositions, win themes and compelling solution narratives.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial commitments, technical architecture, pricing and delivery capabilities.
  • Build and validate financial models, including service volumes, unit costs, operational effort and scaling assumptions.
  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Produce service architecture documentation and transition plans.
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the handover of approved solutions to Transition, Transformation and Delivery teams.
  • Promote the use of standardised services, reusable components, automation and global best practices.

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Service Architecture, Solution Architecture or Managed Services solutioning.
  • Proven experience designing complex and high-value enterprise service proposals.
  • Strong background in Digital Workplace Managed Services.
  • Previous experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect, Service Delivery Manager, Delivery Executive or similar role.
  • Experience supporting enterprise RFPs, RFIs and competitive bid processes.
  • Involvement in large-scale Transition and Transformation programmes.
  • Ability to connect business requirements, technical design, operating models and financial assumptions.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary and international stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluent Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Availability for occasional travel according to project requirements.

  • SIAM and enterprise operating models
  • ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, EasyVista or CA Service Desk
  • L1, L2 and L3 support models
  • SLA and XLA definition
  • Governance, reporting and continuous improvement

Automation and Innovation

  • PowerShell or Python
  • Robotic Process Automation
  • AIOps
  • Generative AI applied to IT operations
  • Self‑service and self‑healing solutions
  • Digital Employee Experience analytics

Security

  • Zero Trust principles
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Identity governance
  • Digital Workplace security
  • Operational resilience

Financial and Commercial Capabilities

The successful candidate should be comfortable developing and defending the financial structure of a Managed Services solution, including:

  • Unit costs per user, device or ticket
  • L1, L2 and L3 operational effort
  • Field Services costs
  • Transition and transformation costs
  • Service volumes and assumptions
  • Upscaling and downscaling scenarios
  • Contractual flexibility
  • Risk and contingency assumptions
  • Solution profitability and long‑term sustainability

Nice to Have

  • ITIL Expert or equivalent certification
  • Microsoft, Azure or AWS certifications
  • Experience with Hybrid IT service architecture
  • Experience with AIOps or Generative AI solutions
  • Knowledge of Green IT and digital sustainability
  • Experience with DevOps and next‑generation operating models
  • Knowledge of Digital Employee Experience platforms and practices
