Solo Pediatrician Seeks Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Description Job Description A physician-owned and independent Pediatric Practice seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established practice in Silver Spring, Maryland. Competitive salary and benefits provided. Our ideal candidate has a current Maryland State license and at least 2 years of experience.

The pediatric nurse practitioner in this position will: · Have current RN and PNP license for the state of Maryland · Have the experience needed to independently see and treat children from birth to age 21 in a primary care office setting (history taking, physical exams, clinical decision making, etc.) · Rotate as on-call provider (phone calls) · Conduct effective patient follow-up · Have DEA certification and knowledge of medications and their proper weight-based administration · Coordinate the practice's VFC administration and maintain compliance · Document and code patient visits appropriately · Have an outgoing and friendly personality and the ability to function and communicate with patients and staff from diverse cultures (knowledge of Spanish is a plus) · Provide after-care resources to patients and their families · Ensure patient records in the company’s EMR are kept up to date and completed in a timely manner Please submit CV and 3 professional references to: Maiya Clark MD at [email protected]
