Job Description

  • We are looking for a quality-minded Software Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure our platform continues to deliver best-in-class experiences for legal operations teams
  • You’ll be embedded in a collaborative Product Feature team, designing and executing test cases that validate the features our customers rely on every day
  • The role is a mix of manual and automation testing, and our team increasingly uses AI to make testing more efficient
  • You’ll be expected to bring AI tools into your workflow where it makes sense, whether that’s generating test cases, accelerating automation scripts, or speeding up root-cause analysis
  • As the voice of quality within the team, you’ll influence process improvements, strengthen our testing practices, and grow your skills while helping Brightflag continue to scale
  • Work closely within an agile team (Software Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, Software QA) to ensure product feature quality
  • Define, develop and maintain test cases with data sets & configurations
  • Organise test set priorities and ranking which will flow into regression pack and automation test suites
  • Execute manual testing for feature verification and regression
  • Influence quality process improvements to act as an agent of change within the organisation
  • Grow as a valued quality assurance colleague by increasing your product knowledge & skill set to enhance Brightflag’s product quality
  • Participate in Sprint Refinements & Planning for sizing of testing effort, utilise retrospectives to improve teamwork
  • Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test case generation, test data creation, and coverage analysis and to help write and maintain automation scripts more efficiently
  • Minimum of 3 year hands-on functional testing experience
  • Experience testing Web Applications, REST API web services (e.g. Postman)
  • Some knowledge of Automation testing (e.g. Playwright Java/Typescript)
  • Demonstrated growth mindset in QA (reporting, troubleshooting, specialized testing.)
  • Demonstrated self-starter with ability to take direct steps to ensuring Product quality within team
  • Demonstrated ability to write & maintain test cases with the ability to write good bug reports
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies & processes including efficiencies & strategies
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills and the ability to collaborate and influence within a product engineering squad
  • Ability to solve problems & troubleshoot
  • Experience with Product & Test Management systems (Jira, Confluence, etc)
  • Good database knowledge & SQL skills
  • Great ability to analyse, estimate and plan work tasks within a team
  • ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification preferred
  • Experience with Performance (e.g.

    JMeter), Security testing

  • Experience in CI/CD environment
