Software Engineer

Position Overview

We’re looking for a versatile Software Engineer to join our Santiago team, helping build tools that make next‑gen robotics systems debuggable, understandable, and reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Build visualizations, dashboards, and plugins that expose what robots are doing and why
• Design backend services and data flows to handle high‑rate telemetry
• Collaborate with US‑based engineering teams solving real‑world autonomy problems
• Learn new domains like robotics, AI, cloud systems, and infrastructure
• Be part of a mentorship‑focused pod that values learning and coaching

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with US‑based teams.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, system design).
• Experience building and operating backend systems — you’ve designed APIs, worked with cloud infrastructure, and built services that are performant, reliable, and maintainable.
• Comfort working across the stack — you can build applications end‑to‑end, and you’re productive in TypeScript, even if it’s not your primary language.
• Track record of owning projects from initial design through implementation, launch, and ongoing support.
• Pragmatic and product‑minded — you care about solving real problems with clean, well‑engineered solutions.
