On‑demand professional development resources to hone existing skills and learn new ones. What You’ll Be Doing Write code (TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.) in support of Investment Portfolio Management and Construction. Utilize AWS technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, SageMaker, EKS/ECS.
Work in a team with experienced software engineers to identify great projects and features that will help you grow in your career. Build relationships with customers, partner teams, and engineers on your team. Measure software and system quality via instrumentation, observability, and customer usage patterns.
Influence your team’s technical decisions by making insightful contributions to priorities and approaches. Leverage AI in daily work and deliver AI‑enabled insights and analytics to customers. Help identify and solve ambiguous problems, and remove bottlenecks that hinder other teams’ innovation.
Your Background And Who You Are Background in software engineering and passion to learn. Learned from past mistakes and apply that learning regularly. Well versed in software engineering fundamentals and loves to apply craft to data‑centric applications.
Believes multiple ways to solve a technical problem, each with different trade‑offs. Approaches projects, tasks, and unknowns with curiosity and enjoys sharing knowledge with colleagues. Values diverse teams and multiple perspectives.
Can put themselves into customers’ shoes and immerse in customer experience to better serve them. Qualifications BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in software development, with at least one modern language (Python, Java, C++, C#) and object‑oriented design, including advanced design patterns.
Experience in cloud‑first design, preferably AWS (Serverless infrastructure, dynamic autoscaling, container orchestration). Experience in data architecture, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle), SQL, and DDD/ER/ORM design. Interest in emerging web technologies such as GraphQL, WebAssembly, Lambda functions, MLaaS.
Knowledge of software engineering practices and best practices for the software development life cycle: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
