Software Developer

At Paessler, we build PRTG, a network, cloud, and IoT monitoring software trusted by more than 500,000 users worldwide. To continuously evolve and improve our product, we are looking for a passionate software engineer to join our team on a long-term basis. Why this position is important: Our software collects performance data from a wide range of technologies and protocols implemented in different programming languages.

To ensure that we continue to provide high-quality solutions in the future, we rely on a dedicated team that works creatively and purposefully to collect performance data efficiently and reliably.

Please note that we can only consider applications from permanent residents of Poland. We offer full-time employment contracts only. B2B and freelancing arrangements are not available for this role.

YOUR TASKS

• You will work in an agile team within the product development for Paessler PRTG
• You and a small, effective team will focus on the needs of our enterprise customers and work on continuous product improvements
• You will plan, develop and modernize software features together with your team
• You will contribute your own ideas and participate in discussions, planning and their implementation together with the product manager.
• As a team, you take responsibility for architecture and code quality
• You support the team with knowledge transfer, code reviews and testing of new features
• You assist our technical support in 3rd-level cases, analyze, isolate and resolve problems within complex environments
• You and the team work together to ensure a high level of quality and stability of the system

YOUR PROFILE

• You have strong experience in modern programming practices
• You have knowledge of AI/ML technologies or strong interest to learn and apply them in development
• You have solid experience with databases and their integration into software, or you are very interested in learning about this and applying it in development.
• You have strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge and solid experience
• You are keen to learn more of a messaging system and its integration into PRTG
• You are willing to learn about how our network monitoring software works
• You are very familiar with the development of software architectures, the implementation of clean code principles and the application of design patterns
• You are familiar with Git and are interested in a modern CI/CD infrastructure with GitLab and Jira
• You have an agile mindset
• You are able to communicate in English fluently
