Description : The opportunity: As a Software Engineer, you will be part of Indian Operation Center, India (INOPC-PG), aiming to develop a global value chain, where key business activities, resources, and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across markets. How you’ll make an impact: Backend Developers are responsible for implementing server’s side logic, APIs, and microservices based on the technical specifications and architectural guidelines. Ensuring high quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable backend components using modern development practices. Implementing backend services and APIs using architectural and coding standards.

Developing scalable microservices aligned with enterprise integration patterns. Write automated tests and maintain code quality following TDD principles. Collaborating with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering with 3+ years of experience in enterprise software development.

Strong expertise in OOP using C# (.NET 6+), Java, C++, or similar languages. Proven experience with Entity Framework, Code First design, and relational data modeling. Experience with Azure Cloud is a plus.

Understanding of event-driven architecture (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, etc.). Experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of orchestration methodologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).

Proactive problem-solving and process optimization approach. Strong analytical thinking and systematic troubleshooting abilities. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
