Company: ZEG India Pvt Ltd Job ID: IN202605152 Location: India ZEG India continues to grow rapidly and is seeking a skilled React developer who can work full-time for 1 month and has hands-on experience with map-based applications, Azure, and AI integrations.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, personable, and professionally driven, with a strong interest in contributing to ZEG’s mission of decarbonizing the power grid. We are building a GIS-based siting and infrastructure planning dashboard that combines: Interactive geospatial visualization Large-scale data handling Cloud deployment on Azure AI-powered (agentic) workflows for geospatial insights What You’ll Do Frontend & GIS Development Build modern UI components using React Develop a map-centric dashboard for geospatial analysis Integrate ArcGIS Maps SDK / Mapbox / Leaflet Implement map features: layers, filters, tooltips, overlays Data Integration Integrate REST APIs and large datasets Work with GeoJSON / spatial datasets Optimize performance for data-heavy applications Cloud & Deployment (Azure) Work with Azure Blob Storage / Data Lake Deploy and manage applications on Azure Handle hosting, configurations, and performance AI Integration (Important) Integrate AI-driven workflows into GIS applications Build features like: Natural language → map queries Automated site insights / recommendations Work with LLM APIs and backend orchestration Required Qualifications Strong experience in React (2+ years) Proven experience building GIS / map-based applications Hands-on experience with mapping libraries (ArcGIS / Mapbox / Leaflet) Experience working with large datasets Experience with Azure (storage + hosting + deployment) Experience integrating AI/LLM features into applications Full-time availability (8 hours/day) for 1 month Ability to work independently and deliver quickly Tech Stack Frontend: React JS (mandatory) Mapping: ArcGIS Maps SDK / Mapbox / Leaflet Backend: Node.js + Express Database: MongoDB Cloud: Microsoft Azure AI: LLM APIs / agent-based workflows Nice to Have Experience with agent frameworks / AI workflows Experience in GIS / infrastructure / energy domain Performance optimization for map-heavy applications Experience with vector databases / semantic search We need someone who has built real-world map-based systems and can integrate AI into production applications. Ability to move fast with minimal supervision is critical.
