Job Description

Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software applications and systems.

Analyse user and business requirements to determine software specifications.

Write, modify and optimise application source code using appropriate programming languages.

Develop and maintain front-end and back-end software components.

Design, develop and integrate RESTful APIs and software services.

Design and maintain databases and implement efficient data access solutions.

Perform software testing, debugging, defect resolution and performance optimisation.

Produce technical specifications, system documentation and software documentation.

Implement software security, coding standards and best development practices.

Participate in code reviews and software quality assurance activities.

Deploy, monitor and maintain software applications in development, testing and production environments.

Maintain existing software systems by diagnosing faults and implementing enhancements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, testers and other developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Ensure software solutions meet functional, technical, security and performance requirements.

Support software releases, upgrades and ongoing application maintenance.
