Software Developer 2

Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Developer 2 to support CNO operations and work alongside the ATPG customer to understand operational requirements and design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain operational network infrastructure. As part of the ATPG team, you will contribute to building infrastructure capabilities, including tool development within a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to identify problems, test and deploy solutions, and see your work in action.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of analysts and operators to solve mission-critical challenges and directly impact daily operations. What you will do Dataflow Expertise: Provide expertise in dataflow development and process improvement Monitoring Tools: Expand and develop health monitoring tools and dashboards Metrics Collection: Use open-source and proprietary software to collect metrics from various applications, hardware, and network appliances Customer Collaboration: Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results What you need to have Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Education & Experience: 8 years of experiencewith aB.S.in a technical discipline or4 additional years of experiencein place of a degree Technical Expertise: Extensive experience managingdataflow pipelines Experience withdata engineering platforms, includingNiFi Experience withcustomer cross-domain solutions Proficiency withcontainerization platforms Development experience in aLinux environment Familiarity with theAtlassian Suite(Jira/Confluence) What we'd like you to have Programming Skills: Experience programming in Python, Go, and Java Open-Source Tools: Experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency Additional Tools: Familiarity with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve SIGINT Knowledge: Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems Dataflow Expertise: 4+ years of experience with dataflow About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
