The Role Innovapptive is a premier enterprise SaaS provider building an AI-powered Connected Worker Platform for industrial giants like Shell and Hess.

As an industry leader scaling rapidly toward $100M ARR, our engineering ecosystem connects frontline workers with mission-critical systems like SAP and Maximo in real time. Our lean SaaSOps team currently manages 45 cloud environments at an intense 11:1 ratio per engineer, making world-class infrastructure reliability our top priority. To support our explosive commercial growth, we are expanding our P&I Engineering division to scale our infrastructure seamlessly to over 100 environments.

We are seeking a high-caliber Site Reliability Engineer (Band A2) in Hyderabad to absorb this operational load by embedding a culture of relentless automation. In this high-impact role, you will own the stability, elasticity, and deployment safety of our AWS-driven, Kubernetes-orchestrated (EKS) multi-tenant infrastructure. You will champion infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, guard 5 monthly release trains via canary and rollback pipelines, and proactively introduce Chaos Engineering.

Operating under a mature, metrics-driven framework, you will directly eliminate manual toil, document critical procedures, and participate in a responsive on-call rotation. This position offers a highly transparent career trajectory to Senior SRE, reporting to a leadership team actively evolving into a world-class VP-led SRE pillar. What You Own Your responsibilities bridge the gap between software development and system operations, focusing heavily on automation and resilience. ● Cloud & Environment Infrastructure: Manage and scale environments across AWS services, specifically handling Kubernetes clusters via Amazon EKS, databases (RDS, DynamoDB), and content delivery (CloudFront, S3). ● Deployment Operations: Support 5 major release trains every month.

You will handle canary deployments, rollbacks, and run Chaos Engineering exercises to test system resilience. ● CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform and Helm to provision infrastructure automatically, and maintain deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/Jenkins and ArgoCD. ● Monitoring & Reliability: Set up SLIs/SLOs (Service Level Indicators/Objectives), design dashboards, and manage alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK. ● Incident Response: Participate in the team's on-call rotation, drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and write post-mortems to ensure the same issue doesn't happen twice. You Must Have ● 3-5 years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure. ● AWS: EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC,Dynamodb,Lambda ● IaC : Terraform,Helm ● Docker and Kubernetes (EKS). ● CI/CD: GitLab CI or Jenkins,ArgoCD ● Strong scripting with Bash and/or Python. ● Linux admin. ● Monitoring: CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus Nice to Have ● MongoDB operations. ● RabbitMQ operations. ● Multi-tenant SaaS. ● AWS certifications. You Will Be Measured On Unlike some vague roles, Innovapptive has very specific, quantifiable metrics for this position: ● Speed: Provisioning new environments strictly within the agreed SLA. ● Reliability: Achieving zero deployment failures caused by underlying infrastructure issues. ● Efficiency: Successfully automating at least 1 manual process every month. ● Responsiveness: Acknowledging critical on-call alerts within 15 minutes. ● Knowledge Sharing: Ensuring 100% of critical operational procedures are fully documented in runbooks.
