Role: Systems Engineer Location: Chennai india Reports: Project Director Sector: Data Center Job Purpose The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting IT infrastructure environments for our client's customers across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud platforms. The role ensures the highest availability, security, and performance of servers, storage, and cloud services while continuously expanding technical expertise. Roles and Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems, Azure VMs, and Microsoft 365 cloud services.

Monitoring & Support: Set up monitoring tools to spot performance bottlenecks, handle system patching, and resolve support tickets according to agreed SLAs. Data Security: Participate in designing and executing backup, recovery, and data redundancy strategies. Documentation: Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation for all completed tasks and customer projects.

Collaboration: Partner with internal technical teams and represent our client professionally in front of vendors and customers. Professional Growth: Actively pursue and maintain required Microsoft certifications within the first 6 months of joining. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Windows Server administration, hybrid environments, endpoint management (Intune/SCCM), and backup solutions (Veeam). Certifications: Must hold or be ready to achieve MCSA (Windows Server 2019 / Office 365) and MS Azure Administrator/Architect certificates. Skills: Strong networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP), sharp troubleshooting abilities, and perfect spoken and written English.
