Site Engineer

Job Description Gortmore are working for a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer’s on a Civil’s project in the Edinburgh area.\n\nThe candidate must:\n\n * Have Previous experience working on Civils projects on Drainage, groundworks, RC Works, etc.\n\n * Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS’s.\n\n * Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.\n\n * Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.\n\n * Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.\n\n * Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.\n\n * Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.\n\n * Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.\n\n * Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
