Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in our flagship showroom in James St, Brisbane, QLD.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person with a strong sales capability and a warm and friendly disposition. Key to your success will be a genuine ability to engage with a diverse range of people, as dedicated leadership and lasting client relationships are the cornerstones of this role.
The position is available 5 days per week in our flagship showroom in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane and is suited to a dynamic candidate with solid retail management experience. You will have the opportunity to directly influence the success of The Modern and build your own team culture within the showroom through your fun & energetic approach to leadership.
As Showroom Manager you will:
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service that reflects our brand values.
- Deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience from welcoming in store to dedicated follow up, through to fulfilment. This will result in positive reviews, repeat business and lasting customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Retail Operations Manager on team recruitment, training and coaching.
- Foster a supportive and motivating team culture that is built on accountability, trust and respect.
- Manage rosters efficiently and approve timesheets with accuracy and accountability.
- Track and analyse sales data to maintain an awareness of sales goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and WHS considerations.
- Manage inventory accuracy and take part in annual stock takes.
- Work with the customer care and warehouse teams on logisitcs, resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain in store VM that aligns wth our brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the marketing team and Retail Operations Manager in marketing opportunities.
You will demonstrate:
- At least 5 years retail management experience
- A proven track record for achieving sales targets
- Warmth, personality, maturity and exceptional interpersonal skills
