Job Description

The SEO Manager will be responsible for analysing, reviewing and implementing changes to websites, optimising to drive traffic, and drive revenue. Combining your knowledge in search engine optimisation and technology you will be performance focused delivering on key metrics.

As the SEO Manager, you will own the organic search strategy across client’s Digital Commerce ecosystem, driving sustainable traffic, conversion and revenue through best-in-class Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO, AEO and GEO strategies aligned with business and commercial objectives.
  • Drive organic traffic, conversion, revenue and search visibility across client’s DTC channels.
  • Lead technical SEO initiatives including site health, Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawlability and indexation.

  • Optimise content, landing pages and website architecture based on keyword research, search intent and AI search best practices.
  • Partner with WebOps, CRO, and Development teams to improve search performance and customer experience.
  • Monitor SEO performance, competitor activity and emerging search trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Produce regular reporting on SEO/GEO/AEO performance, rankings, traffic and commercial impact.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve SEO workflows, content optimisation and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' enterprise SEO experience, preferably within ecommerce or digital commerce.
  • Tertiary qualification in analytics, digital marketing or a related field
  • Proven success delivering measurable growth in organic traffic, conversion and revenue.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, AEO, GEO, semantic search and AI-powered search experiences.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, GTM, Screaming Frog, SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or similar to improve SEO strategy and efficiency.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms.
  • Experience with SEO reporting, using tools such as Peec AI, Looker Studio.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, PPC programs and optimising data gathered from both organic and paid sources is a plus.
