Infinity Employment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer of power supply solutions specialising in the fire and safety sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Warehouse Coordinator to join a growing company with an excellent reputation for quality and innovation.

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual with strong warehouse, manufacturing and team leadership experience to support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and manage all export shipping processes efficiently, ensuring the business continues to meet its planned growth.

As the Senior Warehouse Coordinator, you will lead the warehouse team, ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while supporting production and customer delivery requirements.

Duites:

  • Lead and support the warehouse team daily.
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained using 5S principles.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
  • Build a flexible team capable of maintaining productivity during periods of absence.
  • Ensure warehouse procedures are clearly defined and consistently followed.
  • Maintain warehouse vehicles and material handling equipment (MHE), ensuring servicing schedules are adhered to.
  • Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
  • Attend daily production meetings and work closely with the Operations team to achieve OTIF (On Time in Full) delivery targets.
  • Provide export customers with shipment weights and dimensions where required.
  • Coordinate and track export shipments through to collection.
  • Liaise with freight carriers to obtain the best service and competitive shipping rates.
  • Carry out perpetual inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records within the ERP system.
  • Investigate and process stock discrepancies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Validate incoming deliveries within the ERP system and report any discrepancies promptly to Procurement.
  • Work closely with the Inspection department to ensure incoming goods are processed efficiently.
  • Support other departments where required to help achieve company objectives.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a senior warehouse or warehouse supervisory role.
  • Current Forklift Truck licence.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems (Epicor experience would be advantageous).
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office.
  • Positive, proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Experience;

Supply chain experience.

Dangerous Goods training.

Logistics and freight shipping experience.

Basic knowledge of import and export procedures, or a willingness to learn.

Salary & Benefits:

28,000 - 30,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.

Temp to permanent opportunity.
