We are in search of a talented Senior Visual Designer who possesses the desire to solve complex problems with data-informed solutions and is experienced working with AI technology and innovating with AI designs. This individual will be a core member of our expanding design team, contributing to the development of a best-in-class Enterprise SaaS product with desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces. They will bring interfaces and illustrations to life through thoughtful micro-interactions, motion design, and contribute to our growing design system for scalable use. Visual Designers at ServiceTitan produce visually stunning and captivating work that resonates with our users. They are creative thinkers who delve into the "why" behind design choices and communicate this through their visual creations.

They are responsible for breathing life into design solutions that align with both our wider Product strategy and Marketing efforts.

Reporting to the Group Manager, Visual Design, the Senior Visual Designer possesses a balanced toolkit of real-world design experience, creativity, a background in design theory, and an excitement around contributing to Product branding.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with our Design System team to ensure and grow best practices and guidance around ServiceTitan’s Visual Design language pillars.
• Help shape the visual design language in the Product through UI design, data visualization, and motion design.
• Solid understanding of animation principles (easing, timing, choreography) and how motion supports usability
• Design and document motion/animation behaviors for developer handoff
• Utilize AI-assisted ideation/concepting, generative image tools, prompt-driven asset production, and use these tools to accelerate generation of high-quality work
• Support the XD team with assets that promote an exceptional visual language throughout Product; illustrations, iconography, landing pages, feature announcements, app assets, and more.
• Design creative solutions that are engaging, inclusive, intuitive, and solve real problems.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create work guided by ServiceTitan’s Visual Design language pillars .
• Partner with product designers, design technologists, visual designers, and product managers to develop and ship work.
• Mentor junior designers on UI and motion craft, providing hands-on feedback on interface design, animation principles, and design system usage to help them grow
• Strive to resonate with the home services industry and audience, while advocating for creative excellence
• Advocates for design quality and consistency across the product, setting a high craft bar through both execution and mentorship
• Be an active advocate for creativity: come up with unique and creative ideas regularly, and be excited for growth
• Leverage visual frameworks and patterns based on brand guidelines across Marketing and Product

What You’ll Need

• A design portfolio showcasing relevant real-world UI and Visual design work.
• Experience shipping with AI tools and software
• Experience designing motion for UI and illustrations
• Experience working with a Design System
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse cultures and time zones.
• Proficient in visual design foundations including layout, typography, iconography, color theory, and composition.
• Exceptional ability to establish and maintain relationships across teams and functions.
• Experience giving design feedback and a genuine desire for personal growth.
