Senior Technical Lead

We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to join a challenging IT project in a multicultural environment, focused on the design and development of a batch-mode Data Processing application using Apache Spark.

What we are looking for:

• At least 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development, preferably in a Data Processing context
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark development
• Strong experience developing Data Processing applications using Apache Spark in batch mode
• Professional English proficiency
• Strong experience with cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience in technical leadership on strategic projects, including mentoring multiple developers
• Strong understanding of recent Java language features, such as lambdas, streams, and futures
• Experience in solution design using proven patterns, anti-pattern awareness, and performance tuning
• Java/J2EE 9, Spring and Spring MVC
• Transactional SQL and Spark SQL
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL and Oracle ExaCC
• Object storage such as S3
• Kubernetes and Docker containers
• CI/CD tooling such as Maven, GitLab, ArgoCD and Liquibase
