Senior Software Developer - Networking in Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description Join our innovative Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team as a Senior Software Engineer in the Card Management group. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting‑edge technologies and contribute to a highly available and secure software‑defined networking (SDN) infrastructure. As part of our mission, you will help design and develop tools and infrastructure to manage our expanding fleet of embedded Linux systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability and security of our essential SDN infrastructure. Responsibilities Become a specialist in embedded Linux while developing deep hardware troubleshooting skills.

Create and implement new technologies for our distributed Linux systems in collaboration with hardware, OS, and platform teams. Drive efficiency improvements across multiple regions through automation. Participate in the on‑call rotation, actively monitoring our fleet and related services.

Enhance operational capabilities by developing runbooks, alarms, and useful tools. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess a BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in a relevant functional area, along with at least 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related field. Your expertise will help shape our team and drive important projects forward.
