This opening is for one of our client based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Research Analyst based in Chennai. As a Senior Research Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include conducting market and industry research, analyzing data, and interpreting information to develop actionable insights.

You will prepare detailed reports, present findings to stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Collaboration with diverse internal teams to align research goals with organizational priorities is also expected. Qualifications - CA/CMA only with relevant experience will be considered.

Evaluate startups, founders, and markets Track key sectors (AI, tech, global mobility) Join founder conversations and build conviction Write sharp 1–2 page investment notes Support investment decisions with clear reasoning Build basic financial views (not heavy modelling) Stay curious, question assumptions, think independently Strong communication > perfect finance Outcome: help us decide where to invest Conduct market research and build sector insights (AI, SaaS, mobility, infra) Prepare concise investment notes and recommendation Support founder interactions and due diligence processes Track portfolio performance and identify follow-on opportunities Build simple financial models and scenario analysis Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (founders, partners, funds) 4–6 years in VC / consulting / startup / research Notice Period - Max 30 Days, immediate will be preferred.
