Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to support systemwide quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives across a large acute‑care environment. This role is responsible for analyzing clinical and operational data, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading cross‑functional teams to implement evidence‑based interventions. The position requires strong analytical capability, experience with regulatory reporting programs, and the ability to influence clinical and operational stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of clinical, or healthcare operations experience, advanced quality improvement methodology, and the leadership skills needed to drive measurable improvements in care delivery, patient outcomes, and organizational performance. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Responsibilities: Translate evidence‑based best practices into standard work, clinical pathways, and process redesign. Develop and implement action plans, workflows, and interventions aligned with organizational goals.

Contribute to education, training, and capacity‑building efforts related to quality improvement methodologies. Analyze data from internal and external sources to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and analytics teams to develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.

Lead medium‑ to large‑scale quality and performance improvement initiatives across clinical and operational areas. Partner with clinical and operational leaders to implement workflow changes, optimize care delivery, and reduce variation. Maintain strong working relationships across departments to support alignment and sustainability of improvement initiatives.

Facilitate multidisciplinary teams, committees, and workgroups to support quality, safety, utilization, and health equity objectives. Provide coaching and mentorship on quality improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and statistical process control. Support compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CMS, Joint Commission, Leapfrog, and other reporting programs.

Qualifications (Must-Haves) Master's degree preferred. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards.

Clinical background (nursing, pharmacy, etc.) preferred. Experience with Epic or other EHR platforms preferred. Strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills.

Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without authority. Commitment to patient safety, high‑value care, and continuous improvement. Proficiency with Excel; experience with Tableau, Minitab, or similar tools preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex healthcare environment. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in a large acute‑care hospital or health system. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management certification, or Robust Process Improvement (RPI) required.

Demonstrated ability to define data requirements, analyze trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Bachelor's degree in a related field (public health, business, economics, computer science, nursing, pharmacy, or similar) required. Experience must include one or more of the following: Data‑Driven Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement and Value‑Based Care.
