Overview A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement across a fastâpaced production environment. This role blends strategic quality leadership with handsâon problemâsolving and crossâfunctional influence. Description Solve realâtime production quality issues, partnering with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to quickly diagnose defects and prevent repeat issues. Run structured rootâcause investigations using 5âWhy, Ishikawa, fishbone, and data analysis to drive longâterm corrective actions.
Review and disposition nonconforming material daily through MRB activities, including documentation, parts evaluation, and crossâfunctional decisions. Analyze quality data and trends (scrap, defects, escapes, RMA patterns) and translate insights into improvement projects. Work directly on the production floor, observing processes, verifying compliance to drawings/specs, and supporting operators and technicians.
Own customer and supplier quality communication, ensuring timely responses, documentation, and followâthrough. Lead continuous improvement projects that reduce defects, improve throughput, and strengthen process capability. Support audits (internal, customer, regulatory) and maintain readiness through documentation and process adherence.
