Senior Python Developer

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, and development of backend systems using Python Drive implementation of graph-based solutions using Neo4j, including data modeling and query optimization Define and enforce microservices architecture and API-first design principles Lead development of scalable, distributed systems and integrations Implement AI-driven and agentic solutions for automation and intelligent workflows Oversee performance engineering, load testing, and system scalability Lead cloud-native development across AWS, Azure, or GCP Manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineering teams Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals Required Skills: 6-8 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python Proven experience with Neo4j (Graph Database), including advanced data modeling and Cypher queries Strong expertise in microservices and distributed system design Extensive experience in API design, integration, and middleware development Graph DB: Neo4j (mandatory) NoSQL: MongoDB / DynamoDB Relational: Postgres / MySQL / Oracle Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Hands-on expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines Proven experience in performance tuning, load testing, and high-scale system optimization Experience managing high-traffic production systems Good to Have: Experience with AI/ML integrations and agentic systems Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor) Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub) Experience with Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js Exposure to eCommerce platforms (commercetools, BigCommerce, etc.) Experience with large-scale data processing systems Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely, and the salary range will be $120,000/yr to $130,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
