Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP MDK Developer to support enterprise mobile application development in a utility environment. This role focuses on building and enhancing mobile solutions (e.g., SAP Asset Manager / Service & Asset Manager) that enable field workforce operations, with a strong emphasis on offline-first capabilities and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA. Key Responsibilities Design and develop SAP MDK-based mobile applications for field service and asset management use cases Build and configure MDK pages, actions, and rules (JavaScript-based) Develop and consume OData services for integration with SAP S/4HANA backend Enhance and support applications such as SAP Asset Manager / Service & Asset Manager Ensure offline-first functionality to support field operations with limited or no connectivity Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization of MDK applications Collaborate with functional teams, business users, and UX/UI teams (including UI5 development where required) Support UAT cycles, working closely with large business user groups to validate solutions Participate in phased project delivery with clearly defined go-live criteria Work closely with SAP BTP services for mobile enablement and application lifecycle management Required Skills & Experience 3–6+ years of experience in SAP mobile development Strong hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) Experience developing MDK metadata: pages, actions, and rules (JavaScript) Solid understanding of OData services and backend integration Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Mobile Services Strong debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills Understanding of offline-enabled mobile applications Familiarity with SAP UI5 / Fiori (frontend exposure) Preferred Qualifications Experience working on utility or asset-intensive industry projects Hands-on experience with SAP Asset Manager or SAP Service & Asset Manager Experience supporting large-scale UAT cycles with multiple business users Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies Nice to Have Experience in S/4HANA transformation programs Exposure to data migration or HANA readiness initiatives CI/CD or DevOps exposure in SAP/mobile environments Please note that we may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to support the initial screening of applications.
