Position Senior Project Engineer – Mississauga, ON. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you will provide technical assistance in the planning, designing, evaluating, executing and handover of the assigned projects in accordance with company, client and project requirements. Responsibilities Supporting the Project Manager to ensure the quality of output is delivered by the project team Ensuring output is aligned with the needs of the project/study, the company objectives and client requirements Providing technical competence in the delivery of projects and studies Following project‑specific and company procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to efficiently and consistently deliver a high standard of work Cooperating and communicating effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Assembling scope of work packages to support procurement and construction activities as required Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring within the project engineering team Qualifications A degree and/or post‑graduate qualification in Engineering, with preference for Mechanical 7+ years post‑graduate experience in the minerals processing sector Proven experience in EPC and EPCM environments, preferably in gold and base metals Highly developed people and relationship skills with demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary professional team environment, communicating and motivating effectively at all levels of the organization Demonstrated understanding of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and industrial relations issues Excellent written and oral communication skills Detail oriented with the ability to act independently to complete tasks accurately and effectively Benefits Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development. Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the role’s job family and level and is subject to market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
