Senior Program Manager

Mótrya | Human Talent is assisting a major French multinational company, a global leader in the energy, water, and critical infrastructure sectors, in hiring a high-performance senior professional to take on the position of Senior Program Manager based in São Paulo - SP.

This professional will act as the orchestrator for the implementation of end-to-end multi-energy and utility solutions in the Brazilian market—covering Smart Grid, Electricity, and Water Smart Metering—serving as the primary interface with local clients and leading the integration of complex hardware, software, and value-added cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of National Programs: Implement and monitor complex Smart Grid and Water Metering programs in Brazil, ensuring strict compliance with schedules, agreed technical solutions, and the achievement of operational KPIs.
• Technical Team Leadership: Manage a highly qualified local team, composed of Solution R&D Project Managers and Field Application Engineers.
• Financial Management (P&L): Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) account for projects under your scope, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
• Global Interface & Stakeholders: Act as the local representative for the SGS Department Director (based in France), managing strategic alignment between Global R&D, Product Managers, Sales teams, and the end client.
• Support for New Business: Actively support the commercial team during pre-sales phases and responses to complex tenders in the region.
• Work Model: On-site in São Paulo/SP, with 5 dedicated days per week at the client's premises for strategic alignment, meetings, and service monitoring.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree and preferably a Master’s degree (Bac+5 or robust specialization/MBA) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Systems, or IoT-related fields.
• Solid Experience: Proven track record in managing complex programs and deploying large-scale IoT solutions, with hands-on knowledge in Smart Grid and/or Smart Water Metering for the corporate/utility market.
• Digital Business Models: Practical experience delivering professional services with strong exposure to recurring revenue models such as SaaS (Software as a Service) and DaaS (Data as a Service).
• Languages: Fluent English (mandatory for daily international corporate interaction with global headquarters).
• Soft Skills: Highly analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders across different cultures and hierarchical levels.
• Mobility: Full availability for international travel and to reside in the city of São Paulo.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

• Recognized market certifications in project management and governance, such as PMP (PMI), Prince2, or ITIL.
• Previous experience or knowledge in critical infrastructure (Energy and Water Utilities) and local regulations regarding cybersecurity and data protection.
