Overview

In this role you drive the global payroll and time management landscape, shaping standards and enabling large-scale transformation. You act as a senior subject matter authority within the GBS Total Rewards framework, partnering with IT, HR, and Centers to deliver system optimizations and compliant processes. You lead cross-country initiatives end-to-end, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and ensuring audit-proof governance.

This is an impact role at scale, combining process design with global rollout and regulatory awareness.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Manage and standardize global payroll and time processes across regions
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, and GBS Centers on system implementations and process transitions
  • Translate global strategy into roadmaps and drive change initiatives within SAP/ERP landscape
  • Provide expert guidance on payroll/time-related processes and manage issue resolution
  • Own or oversee modules within global payroll/time platforms and participate in lifecycle and release governance
  • Maintain governance frameworks by contributing to SOPs, controls, roles, and authorization concepts
  • Monitor performance, identify improvements, and implement efficiency and compliance enhancements
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry practices
  • Lead complex global initiatives and major system rollouts and regulatory changes
  • Sparring partner for escalation on payroll/time process, system, and compliance topics
  • Contribute to audit-proof design and cross-regional standardization
  • Oversee end-to-end ownership of global payroll/time processes across regions
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Master's degree in business administration or related field
  • Several years of experience in payroll/time management, preferably global
  • Solid knowledge of SAP, SuccessFactors, or Workforce with hands-on operation/project experience
  • Experience designing and improving processes with awareness of global standards and local needs
  • Strong stakeholder communication across functions and regions
  • Understanding of roles and authorization concepts and compliance in payroll processes; implementation experience is a plus
  • Experience in cross-functional or international project environments
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Senior role: extensive experience in global payroll/time process design and governance
  • Proven ability to work on complex projects in globally dispersed teams (preferred)
