Job Description
A large petrochemical company needs a senior process control/automation engineer with multi-site responsibilities. Short version: Senior automation engineer with extensive DeltaV experience that will lead automation projects and trouble-shooting efforts at both a main plant and other surrounding operations. (All Application will be regarded as confidential) Key Points/MUST have: Extensive experience with configuration/optimization of Emerson DeltaV PLCs; prefer with AB/Rockwell ControlLogix platforms Extensive experience in plants/ops setting - not desk job More Info Work with, through and between ops, site engineering, EHS, etc, on all things process control Design, upgrade, manage automation projects with both DeltaV and ControlLogix systems Identify and (or) quantify potentially issues and design/propose solutions DCS configuration and system migration Lead operation-wide efforts with new technology within production, environmental and emissions control, etc Some other process areas of the large multi-process complex: Experience in designing/improving all areas of a site DCS, including programming Some experience with SRS, SIL ratings, and ISA84 useful Work with site personnel, compare personnel from other sites, contractors/subs Required/preferred Degree in engineering preferred; 10+ years with appropriate systems required Experience in as much of the above as possible Repeating: Must know DeltaV (including managing configuration). Some Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC system experience very strongly preferred Most experience in a plant or multi-plant/site setting Must be good with people!
