Senior Oracle Developer

Job DescriptionDublin | Hybrid | Long-Term Contract Our client, a global financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join a high-performing Regulatory Reporting Technology team. This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on the design, development and delivery of critical regulatory reporting solutions supporting business users across EMEA. You'll work closely with global technology teams, architects and business stakeholders, helping to drive the technical direction of a complex enterprise platform while mentoring developers and promoting engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of regulatory reporting applications and platform enhancements. Provide hands-on technical leadership across global development teams. Develop scalable, high-performance solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards.

Drive Agile delivery from design through deployment. Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers and promote development best practices. Contribute to framework development, automation initiatives and CI/CD improvements.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications and databases. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions. Required Experience 10+ years' software development experience in enterprise environments.

Strong Oracle Database and advanced PL/SQL development expertise. Proven experience leading technical delivery and mentoring development teams. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the SDLC.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins. Linux and shell scripting experience. Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Environment Experience with several of the following: Oracle PL/SQL Informatica Java Spring Angular Autosys Jenkins Linux JIRA Desirable Financial services or banking experience. Regulatory reporting or finance technology background. Experience integrating with third-party vendor platforms.
