Senior Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Nursing Aides, Healthcare Assistants and other care team members

• Plan, coordinate and oversee resident care activities across designated wards

• Ensure compliance with MOH, SNB, HCSA and Enhanced Nursing Home Standards (ENHS)

• Conduct nursing rounds and follow up on clinical, safety and service issues

• Monitor nursing care quality through audits, quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions

• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and healthcare teams

• Ensure adequate manpower, appropriate skill mix and effective staff deployment

• Support staff orientation, competency development, performance appraisal and professional development

• Participate in nursing committees, training, continuing education and other projects

• Deputies for the Assistant Head of Nursing when required

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration

• Locally trained: Degree in Nursing/equivalent and Advanced Diploma in Clinical Nursing

• Foreign-trained: Degree in Nursing with relevant Board Pass/PRC qualification

• Nurse Manager: 3 years' experience in a similar role within a medium/large nursing home in Singapore

• Senior Nurse Manager: 5 years' experience in a similar role within a medium/large nursing home in Singapore
