AirBuddy Aerospace is growing its manufacturing team! We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing & Fabrication Engineer / Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Fabrication Engineer who can set up manufacturing processes from prototype to production.

Experience Required:

▪️ 5–10+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, and production engineering

▪️ Experience in setting up manufacturing processes from prototype to production

Core Responsibilities:

✅ Plan and execute manufacturing processes

✅ Develop fabrication methods for mechanical components

✅ Select suitable manufacturing processes based on design requirements

✅ Handle CNC machining, turning, milling, and fabrication activities

✅ Coordinate with machine shops and fabrication vendors

✅ Develop SOPs and work instructions

✅ Supervise fabrication and assembly operations

✅ Optimize production time and manufacturing costs

✅ Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues

✅ Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards

✅ Manage production planning and scheduling

✅ Inspect fabricated components before assembly

✅ Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement

✅ Lead shop-floor teams and technicians

✅ Ensure workplace safety and compliance
