About the Role\nReporting to the General Manager – Product Strategy, the Senior Manager – Product Strategy sits at the centre of a core strategic function and leads a team of Product Strategy specialists.
\nYou’ll be responsible for shaping the strategy and delivery of vehicle programs across their full lifecycle, balancing performance, market competitiveness, profitability and ease of sale. Working closely with senior stakeholders both locally and globally, you’ll influence long‑term product direction while guiding your team to execute with clarity, discipline and impact.
Core Responsibilities\n- \n
- Lead a team of Product Strategy Managers, setting direction, building capability and building a strong, collaborative culture \n
- Develop and deliver product strategies for current and future vehicle lines that are aligned to market trends, competitor activity and business priorities \n
- Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from concept, business case and approvals through to launch and post‑launch review \n
- Drive market insight through dealer engagement, customer feedback, research and benchmarking to inform decisions \n
- Manage key governance processes, including product approvals, pricing strategy, volume planning and program milestones \n
- Lead cross‑functional coordination of new product launches and model updates, ensuring alignment across all business areas \n
- \n
- Significant experience in automotive product strategy, product planning or a related discipline \n
- Proven experience leading product or program strategy across the full product lifecycle \n
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing and developing high‑performing teams \n
- Strong project and programme management experience, with the ability to manage complex, multi‑stream initiatives \n
- Experience developing business cases, product proposals and securing approvals within structured governance frameworks \n
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, volume planning and profitability considerations \n
- Advanced analytical capability, including experience working with large datasets to inform decision‑making \n
- Experience conducting market research, competitor benchmarking and translating insights into strategy \n
- Proven experience working cross‑functionally and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix or global environment \n
